The Renewal of Wedding Vows, also known as Thanksgiving for Marriage is a ceremony which provides a married couple with a unique and personal opportunity to celebrate their marriage and commemorate their wedding. Often these ceremonies are linked with a special anniversary, such as the tenth or twenty-fifth, however it is appropriate for couples at any stage of marriage.
It is an opportunity to celebrate time together, or equally a chance to renew commitment after a strained period in a relationship. Sometimes a couple might choose a quiet or private ceremony, while at other times they might choose a large gathering with organ, flowers and procession.
